This is based off an old collaboration I did roughly a year ago with :iconchriscold: & :iconzwordarts: I noticed the earliar design wasn’t properly finished
([link] to the original final design i did in 2010) .

Thankfully with a lot of free time, I was able to enhance the visual lighting and to make the scene more dramatic I added extra features and special FX.

This was is my first space battle painting this was a
great learning experience for me, as a developing artist I hope to
someday to come back to this piece and include some extra features.

I'm heavily influenced by HR Giger works - I wanted the ships too be like a breathing mechanical creature. When I did the Alien ships I was thinking at that time "what if they are like mechanical bee hives that can shoot laser beams in space.."

Yeah I wanted to show the story in a wider angle like ships fighting and emerging, ships counter attacking and other ships escaping.
